1 package Pad Thai noodles (or Udon noodles)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
4 cloves garlic - minced
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons pure sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon hot chili oil
2 scallions - chopped -for garnish
sesame seeds - for garnish
Whisk all ingredients (except noodles, scallions and sesame seeds ) together in a bowl, and set aside.
In a medium sauce pan cook noodles according to package.
Drain noodles and put back into the sauce pan. Pour sauce over and cook for 1 - 2 mote minutes until the noodles become fragrant.
Garnish with scallions & sesame seeds.
Notes:
-add a protein or garnish with veggies.
-a scrambled egg would also be tasty in here!
