Simple Sesame Noodles

  • 1 package Pad Thai noodles (or Udon noodles)

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 4 cloves garlic - minced

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons pure sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon hot chili oil

  • 2 scallions - chopped -for garnish

  • sesame seeds - for garnish

  1. Whisk all ingredients (except noodles, scallions and sesame seeds ) together in a bowl, and set aside.

  2. In a medium sauce pan cook noodles according to package.

  3. Drain noodles and put back into the sauce pan. Pour sauce over and cook for 1 - 2 mote minutes until the noodles become fragrant.

  4. Garnish with scallions & sesame seeds.

Notes:

-add a protein or garnish with veggies.

-a scrambled egg would also be tasty in here!
