INGREDIENTS:
One prepared graham cracker crust or use your own homemade recipe!
Two 14-ounce cans sweetened condensed milk
6 large egg yolks
1 - 2 cups of Nellie & Joes Key Lime Juice (depends how tart you want it!)
Zest of a lime
Whipped Cream
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a stand mixer, whisk together condensed milk, egg yolks, and Key lime juice until completely smooth and combined (taste now to see if you would like it to be more tart)!
Pour the filling into the pie crust and smooth out the top.
Bake for 15 minutes or until set. You still want the pie to have a little jiggle, it's okay & normal! Do not over-bake!!!!
Cool completely, then place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
To make your whipped cream, place a standing mixer into the freezer for 30 minutes, you want this VERY COLD.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, place all the ingredients into the bowl and whip until stiff peaks, about five minutes or so.
